We aim to educate, empower and inspire Black folks around ways to treat ourselves well. Our programs are structured to include well researched facts, as well as resources. In addition, subject matter experts are frequently included as presenters in our programs.
The BWWB Lounge offers periodic opportunities to relax, engage with each other and experience joy.
BWWB Lounge sessions have covered a range of interest areas, including music, fashion, wine-tasting and playing interactive games. These experiences are provided at a nominal cost so that they are accessible to our communities.
BWWB is launching the creation of a Black Voter Guide in 2022 to enable and enhance Black political empowerment - “Blacktivism”. Participants will be encouraged and guided to organize and develop Blacktion Plans to address representation, structures, resources, policies and guidelines that affect Black well-being in their local communities.
