Black Health & Well-Being Principles

TOTAL WELL-being

CENTERED IN AND FOCUSED ON BLACK COMMUNITIES

CENTERED IN AND FOCUSED ON BLACK COMMUNITIES

Our goal is to ensure that everyone has what they need to be healthy, especially in Black communities.

We address all of the determinants of health and well-being.

CENTERED IN AND FOCUSED ON BLACK COMMUNITIES

CENTERED IN AND FOCUSED ON BLACK COMMUNITIES

CENTERED IN AND FOCUSED ON BLACK COMMUNITIES

Black communities rank at or near the bottom of statistics across all of the determinants of health.

We are not well.

When we are well, we can do more than survive - we can THRIVE.

RIGHT-NOW-RELEVANT

CENTERED IN AND FOCUSED ON BLACK COMMUNITIES

RIGHT-NOW-RELEVANT

Our culture and ethos are intentionally centered on the "right now relevant" needs of Black communities as they change and evolve.

We keep our fingers on the pulse of Black folks as we center and amplify the myriad Black voices and experiences.
